Curry (Indian) * 1 Tbsp. soy sauce * 1 tsp. salt * 1 Tbsp. sugar * 2 Tbsp. oil * Herbs * Lettuce * Plantain * Star fruit * Bean sprout * Cucumber * ½ can sliced pineapple * Rice Noodle -fine (Banh hoi) or vermicelli (Bun) * Green onion oil * Anchovy sauce * Rice paper * Red (hot) pepper Mince peanuts coarsely in food processor. Slice white parts of lemon grass & process finely together w/ garlic in a processor Beef Marinate Beef with 5 spice powder, curry, soy sauce, salt & sugar. Wrapping Oil the leaves. Put beef on dull side & roll up from the small end. Pin the short stem in the roll to secure. Fry rolls with little oil. Seam side down until they are almost done. Fry the other side once quickly to keep the green color. Cook the noodles & top w/ onion oil. Microwave 2 minutes to warm. Cut into square pieces before eating. Serving Place some lettuce, noodles, beansprout, 1 beef roll and all other vegetables, herbs &, plantain, star fruit, pinapple on a rice paper. Roll up & dip in anchovy sauce.
